So why the change?

The only real improvement was refining the inner foam. The original foam was a little thicker than I wanted, so the Green Machine XL uses a slimmer core that feels more flexible and comfortable in your hand during a wash.

The cleaning performance is still excellent, making the Big Red Wash Pad fantastic value while stocks last. Once they're gone, they're gone.
